DARREN KEARL CISA

Darren is a cybersecurity and governance leader with over 23 years of experience helping organizations translate complex risk into practical, business-aligned security programs. A Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) since 2007, he has led security assessment, policy development, certification, and compliance initiatives across healthcare, technology, and regulated industries, with senior roles at Siemens, Healthineers, Varian Medical Systems, eHealth, and Amazon.
Darren founded STP not only to make enterprise-grade cybersecurity accessible to growing organizations, but as an advocacy initiative, expanding learning and livelihood opportunities for the next generation entering an industry with an urgent and growing need for security talent. His nonprofit leadership experience includes technology initiatives adopted within San Francisco government infrastructure, reflecting his commitment to public impact alongside private-sector excellence.
He divides his time between the United States and Thailand with his wife and son.
